Our various
alloys

We cast in different alloys to meet our customers' specific needs regarding tensile strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, etc. We have a table of the different alloys and the properties the various materials provide below.

Properties

ENAC-42100 ENAC-46200 ENAC-43200 ENAC-44100
Good casting properties. Suitable for products that require good strength and elongation. Can be hardened. Good casting properties. Less resistant to corrosion. Good machinability. Good hardening properties. Good corrosion resistance. Very good machinability. Can be hardened. Good casting properties, particularly in conjunction with sand casting. The alloy has excellent fluidity and is suitable for thin-walled products. Good corrosion resistance. Machinability is not quite as good (tends to smear).

About Melins Metall

Melins Metalls primary production area is aluminium sand casting. Sand casting is very suitable, for example, for short series and prototypes as well as large details and products. We use recycled aluminium with a firm focus on sustainable environmental thinking.
